Vincent Ravalec is a writer, director, writer and French producer. He has written novels, short stories, songs, films, radio plays, comics, web series, essays, cooking recipes, art critics, travel stories, all on the various topics: the suburbs, the literary world, witchcraft, real estate, food, sound, shamanism, masturbation, space travel, the initiation plants, disease, elections, drugs, swingers, ecology, good and evil, the end of the world, education, artistic expression, and … cinema. He brought some of his books to the screen. Others have brought them.
Born in Paris in 1962, his works Cantique de la Racaille (1994) and Un pure moment de rock n roll (1997) make it one of the leading feathers of French literature of the late twentieth century. Cantique de la Racaille won the Prix de Flore in 1994. Vincent adapted his novel to the cinema and saw the film selected for the Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes. He is also the author of interactive fiction for Arte, especially with Addicts series in 2010.
