In 2015, Maud Clavier founded Clap & Zap, a company specialized in the creation of immersive content. Wishing to collaborate with external companies and devote herself to a more artistic career, she leaves the company at the beginning of 2018 to become a freelancer.
She directs her first short film 360° Filamu in 2018, shot in Tanzania. It was in official competition in festivals and won prizes: Fivars, VR Days, Arthouse Asia, St Francis College film festival, Aestetica short film festival and a few others.
In 2019 she is production manager on Marc Caro’s first film 360: Dans La Lune.
She participates in an artistic residency launched by the Ministry of Culture, Chimère, selected from more than 300 applications (12 artists were selected in the end). The aim is to create hybrid works for the theatre combining scenography, dramaturgy, plastic arts, dance and virtual reality.
These encounters enrich her imagination and her skills, which are used in the project The Worlds of Vikings. A museum exhibition including various technologies.
